Mission Statement
The Oskaloosa Public Library exists to serve as a primary source of information, education, recreation, and personal fulfillment for all of the city of Oskaloosa and Mahaska County.

The FY2021 (June) - FY2026 (June) Strategic Plan for the Oskaloosa Public Library provides a blueprint for action and development over the next five years. This document will describe the Strategic Planning survey outcomes and details of the Library’s strategic goals, objectives and actions. The goals and objectives of the Strategic Plan will reflect the Oskaloosa Public Library’s commitment to serving the community of Oskaloosa and Mahaska County through improvements to its resources, programs and services.
