Special Programs in August

1) The Friends of the Oskaloosa Public Library are sponsoring speaker Linda McCann.  Linda has recently published a book about the Civilian Conservation Corps.  Linda will be speaking about the CCC and the people she interviewed for the book.

The program is on Tuesday, August 21st at 6:00 p.m in Meeting Rm A/B

2) Computer Training Class on Beginning Windows/Excel.  The class size is limited to 8 people, so please call 673-0441 or stop by the 1st Floor Circulation Desk to register.

The class is on Tuesday, August 28th at 5:30 p.m. in the Children's Computer Lab

2nd Monday of Every Month ~ Crochet and Knitting
The Library currently sponsors a monthly Crochet and Knitting Program.  If you don't know how to crochet or knit, no problem, all the necessary supplies are available as well as people to help you learn! The program is the 2nd Monday of every Month, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The August program is on Monday, August 13th

2nd Tuesday of Every Month ~ Hand to Paper
The Library currently sponsors a monthly Hand to Paper Program.  Come explore you creative side, whether that be drawing, writing, painting, or do yarn crafts.  All the necessary supplies are available for you to explore "what your hand puts to paper". The program is the 2nd Tuesday of every Month, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

3rd Wednesday of Every Month ~ Brown Bag Book Club
The Library currently sponsors a monthly Brown Bag Book Club. Bring your lunch and join the group as they chat about each month's selection.  The Brown Bag Book Club meets in on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. in Meeting Room C on the third floor.

The August meeting is on Wednesday, August 15th
