Special Programs in June 2019

1) OPL Coding Club is held in the 1st Floor Computer Lab. No Coding skills or knowledge required! Join us on Monday, June 10th at 4:30 p.m.

2) A "Universe of Conservation"
- Friends of Mahaska County Conservation will be presenting a program on a "Universe of Conservation". The program will include information on Mahaska County parks and resources, as well as information on the Environmental Learning Center.
Join us on Tuesday, June 18th at 6:00 p.m.

 
3) Free Class on "Online Resources at the Library" Monday, June 24th at 5:30 p.m. Class is Limited to 8 people. To register, sign up at the first floor Circulation Desk or call 673-0441.

1st Wednesday of Every Month ~ Cozy Read Book Club
A Library sponsored monthly book club.  Bring your lunch and join the group as they chat about each month's selection.  The Cozy Read Book Club meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. in Meeting Room C on the third floor.
The June meeting is on Wednesday, June 5th at Noon.
The book discussion is about "The Secrets of Paper and Ink" By Lindsay Harrel


2nd Monday of Every Month - Crochet and Knitting Night

Join us 5:30 pm to 7 pm for any kind of needlework! No matter if you crochet, knit, embroider, cross-stitch, or mend this is the place to be! All skill levels welcome!

The June meeting is on Monday, June 10th at 5:30 p.m.



3rd Wednesday of Every Month ~ Brown Bag Book Club
The Library hosts the Brown Bag Book Club. Bring your lunch and join the group as they chat about each month's selection.  The Brown Bag Book Club meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. in Meeting Room C on the third floor.
